Unitree H1U Their First Universal Humanoid Robot

Like this:

Unitree is a Chinese robotics company that develops a whole suite of affordable and immediately deployable robots.

The Humanoid Brain Grows Bigger (a weekly segment):

In fact! Sanctuary AI is “Building machines that think like people”

Here is Their Very Thorough Graphic:

Also that Robot ⬆️ can do lots of cool tasks, including scanning items like a human cashier, thanks to their control system: The Carbon™

that “mimics subsystems found in the human brain, such as memory, sight, sound, and touch.”

So Human Brain+ Human Body = (idk yet—that’s the heart and soul of what we will explore each week)

This concept of processing information more like humans and less like preprogrammed robots is also being pioneered by

Covariant which is making waves, or to be more accurate, “empowering robots to see, think, act”

Is building a foundational model much like ChatGPT BUT “powered by real-world multimodal robotics data”

Take a look at their existing system, RFM-1, a model for robotics that powers warehouse robots for the likes of ABB. It was actually trained on the largest real world robotics data set, kinda like what you see below :

With this software, robots can pick, sort, and categorize, items—who knows what else is to come?

They are building the robot brain!
